Mr Pee Che Yong Chief Administrator Pee Che Yong has been appointed as the Chief Administrator since 1 September 2006. He has 11 years of sound experience in the insurance industry and is an Associate Financial Planner with Financial Planning Association of Malaysia (FPAM). He is also a Certified Personal Insurance Practitioner with the National Association of Malaysian Life Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAMLIFA). Pee Che Yong has begun his career with one of the leading insurance company in Malaysia as a full-time insurance representative since May 1997. He is a graduate of Agricultural Science from Universiti Putra Malaysia. Apart from his professional qualification, he is the principal author for the book “Guide to Insurance Buying in Malaysia” published by Leeds Publications (M) Sdn. Bhd. in year 2003 and also the co-author for 'Insurance Planning Guide for Malaysians'. His latest book is 'Guide to Hospitalisation and Surgical Insurance in Malaysia' His initiative to educate the public about insurance through his book has prompted the setting up of online Malaysia insurance knowledge website -MalaysiaInsuranceGuide.com. He believes the internet is a powerful tool to share insurance knowledge and he wants to see a more informed decision-making process going on between consumers and the insurance companies. He strongly believes an insurance consumer’s buying literacy begins with insurance knowledge and a knowledgeable consumer today will change the insurance buying behaviour of tomorrow, then, a consumer driven era will materialize. This necessitates him to keep abreast of the development of Malaysia’s insurance industry.
